MAS SEEDS FOR SAVING BEES
For over 80 years, the Maisadour cooperative has been producing and marketing high quality seeds and sustainable agronomic solutions and has been present in Italy for over 30 years with the MAS Seeds Italia and Semfor brands.
As a seed company, we are committed every day to supporting farmers who today are facing strong economic pressure and the growing uncertainty of production linked to climate change. Our mission is to provide high potential variety seed and quality professional agronomic services to address these challenges. Being a farmer for us means ''cultivating the future''. We are developing trusting relationships with our customers and partners based on a long-term vision for profitable, sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
For some years we have included in our range bee seeds mixtures, specially designed to ensure a prolonged flowering and very attractive for bees, to offer the pollinators abundant and continuous nourishment. We have decided to support the Savingbees.org initiative, because it is a project in which we see our sustainability values reflected in practical application in the Bee Oasis, a micro-environment rich in animal and plant biodiversity, so important for the future of all living species.
Our collaboration with Saving Bees began precisely with the preparation of a customized Semfor brand mixture, which was sown in the Bee Oasis, with the aim of offering nectar and well-being to bee families. We then decided to adopt a hive to feel more directly involved with ''our'' bees in this project and contribute to its realization.

We bought agricultural land, and we are creating an ''Enchanted Valley'' for our friends Bees. We are sowing different species of ancient varieties of wild flowers and planting various medicinal plants whose nectar is precious for bees, to recreate a natural and special environment to support the life of these wonderful creatures, so important for life and for man.
