Our honey is very special, for many reasons. First of all, it is essential to know that we never feed the bees with water and sugar. We leave them the honey they produce from April to September. At the end of the season, between August and September, they’ll bring honey to the nest, thus keeping it deep in the hive. In this way they will have all what they need for passing the winter in strength and health, without the need for any human intervention.

In this way, an extraordinary thing happens, honey will be a natural blend, of all the flowers and scents of our land and the whole season, the floral fingerprint of the nature that surrounds us, thus obtaining a special and unique flavor and perfume. Bees are self-sufficient, healthy and do not need to be fed. With this natural modus operandi, colonies develop more gradually, and more than 30% of the honey that could be collected is ``lost``. But this is not a problem for us at Saving Bees, indeed, we are happy about it, because it remains to them, to the bees!

We do not ``exploit`` the Bees to sell their honey, but we only take the unused excess from the Bees and we pot them for you, without filtering and never heating it.
